Getting a bit lackadaisical, i.e., scattered, haha but still keeping up with the beautiful morning ritual of lemon water and gratitude. I love my special rock and fell asleep with it in my hand the other night and we slept really well together! We've gone into daylight saving this weekend so when I wake at first light I'm an hour behind schedule.
My nature walk yesterday was combined with my walk to the Saturday farmers' market, wandering through the forest of gums behind my place then through the beautiful Slater's Creek regeneration area. It is now home to many very vocal tiny wrens and finches as well as quail that rush for cover as I quietly appear. We had heavy rain on Wednesday which has filled the wetlands there that were getting very dry. Lots of love from Valerie
